Mindful Meditation: An easy introduction to inner peace

"Meditation is a way for nourishing and blossoming the divinity within you" - Amit Ray
It's easy to get lost in the hustle of every day life, and sometimes we forget about our inner world. Meditation can help you come back to your divine self and it can also be a great tool for people who are interested in becoming more mindful, aligned, and self-aware. There are many different types of meditation but one of the easiest ways to get started is with mindfulness meditation. Mindfulness helps you focus on what you're doing in the present moment without being distracted by thoughts about your past or worries too much about your future.

As a Mother, there are days where you feel the weight of the world on your shoulders. I find that meditation is the perfect way to help me de-stress, feel more focused and give me the grace and patience that is needed while navigating motherhood. Because truth be told, motherhood is a beautiful journey filled with chaotic moments that challenge you to grow and evolve.

Integrating a simple daily practice such as taking 5-10 minutes each morning to meditate can be life changing. Start by taking some deep breaths as you soften and surrender to the beauty of this now moment. Releasing all of your thoughts as you sit in the presence of the divine. Allow the divine to nourish your soul in all the ways your mind, body and spirit craves. Nothing external could ever equate.

It's never too late to start.  I have found that the only thing stopping me from meditating in the morning is time, but a mindful minute can be done anywhere at anytime. Even if it's just one day out of your week - take an extra few minutes and notice how you feel on the inside which will reflect your external reality.

The daily practice of meditation has the ability to change your life in so many ways, so the real question is what's stopping you?
