Curated Boxes // Mini Capsule Collections
You guys!! I am so excited to show you these curated boxes! As a Fashion Designer, I was taught to design collections. Huge 30 to 40 piece collections and I absolutely love it! It's all I know. Being able to see your visions and sketches come to life is an amazing feeling for an artist.
In the handmade world, where I am doing it all, its not realistic to design and create even 15 pieces each release because it takes a large team to produce that. I have struggled with it countless times because I always design larger "collections" and want everything to coordinate for my releases but somehow life catches up to me and when the orders roll in, I can't catch up. Ever. I fall behind, and it becomes a vicious cycle.
This year, I am doing something different. I want to be intentional with my time. I love what I do and have to create a system that works for me and my given season. The reality is I am a newly single mother to 4 kids who need me. Now more than ever. However, I still need to work and provide for them so it's a catch-22. But it doesn't have to be. After taking some much needed time off during the Holidays to reflect and reconfigure, I realized that I can make my own rules for the business and the brainstorming took off. So I came up with an idea to curate & design smaller collections. 3-5 pieced boxes that coordinate and have a theme but can also be worn with your little babes existing wardrobe. These boxes will be limited each release so that I can "try" to balance out motherhood and work, and still keep my sanity. Some will be holiday inspired, and what better way than to start off with VALENTINES DAY! The cutest day of the year. Ill be adding some little trinkets so the littles can open their boxes and really enjoy every bit of it!

This is my taken on a modern Valentines day capsule that is more muted instead of your traditional bright pink and red! I've went ahead and did some flat lays (a lot of you wanted to see more from the feedback on the survey) so you can see just how many outfits your little babes can get out of these 3 pieces. As you can see, the possibilities are endless. I hope you love these just as much as I do, and I can't wait to see how you style everything!
