Rose of Jericho Resurrection Flower (Selaginella Lepidophylla)

Is your home or office in need of a little cleansing? The Resurrection Plant, Selaginella lepidophylla, is a botanical wonder known for its ability to seemingly come back to life again and again -- even after completely drying out. Also known as the "Rose of Jericho," this desert plant is magical and resurrects when placed in water.

Native to the Chihuahuan Desert of the United States and Mexico and is a member of the spike moss family (Selaginellaceae). The Rose of Jericho has long been used for its holistic & magical powers. It was believed to help transmute negative influences, energies, and bring harmony, peace and abundance. 

Directions: The Rose of Jericho is easy to care for - simply place it in a bowl of water and watch it come back to life within a few hours! Once it has finished drinking, it will begin to unfurl its beautiful green leaves. We recommend changing the water out daily and allowing "rest days" 2 days a week to increase the longevity of the Jericho Flower (Rose of Jericho is removed from water during the rest days) Once dried, store it in a dry dark place until you'd like it to bloom again.
