Do you care what others think of you? Does your perception of self need to be validated by others?

There's a moment that comes for all of us when we decide to stop living for other people and start living for ourselves. Maybe it was caused by a major life event, or maybe it was a slow realization that we were never going to be happy if we kept trying to please everyone else. That moment when we decide to start living authentically is a moment of true freedom.

From that moment on, we are no longer bound by the opinions of others. We can be our true selves, without worrying about how we will be judged. We can pursue our passions and goals, without worrying about what other people think. This doesn't mean that we stop caring about other people altogether. It just means that we stop letting their opinions control our lives.

You realize that your life, your choices, the way you parent, how you choose to show up for yourself and others, how you choose to run your business - it's all up to you. No one else gets to decide how you live your life and that in itself is freeing.

It's not always easy to live authentically. Especially during times where society & social media tells us that we should be constantly striving for perfection, success and monetary accomplishments and that anything less is failure. But the truth is, perfection is an illusion. Success is relative. And money does not buy happiness.

So next time you find yourself comparing your life to someone else's, or feeling like you're not good enough, remember that everyone is on their own journey. You are exactly where you're supposed to be my love. Embrace it and keep moving forward. The moment you truly stop caring about what other people think, how they perceive you and start living your truth, is the moment you start living authentically. It's a beautiful thing. And it's when life really starts to get good.
